Job description

Firm Administrator [2587].

Law office seeks Firm Administrator to manage daily business operations by providing administrative, financial, and human resources support.

Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with Firm’s external CPA and assist with payroll and billing functions while developing reports and year-end financial statements.
  • Maintain personnel records and coordinate human resources functions such as recruitment, onboarding/offboarding, and performance management.
  • Support administration of employee benefits and retirement plans and serve as the main point of contact for benefit providers and brokers.
  • Interface with IT and office vendors and ensure internal platforms and office equipment are functioning properly.
  • Assisting with additional special projects as assigned.

Qualifications:
  • Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Highly proactive with excellent prioritizing skills.
  • Positive, professional attitude and ability to collaborate effectively with others.
  • Remains organized and meets deadlines effectively in a fast-paced working environment.
  • Exercises good judgement given minimal direction.
  • Understanding of business operations and accounting principles.
  • Excellent computer and software skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite applications, QuickBooks, and HRIS.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • Private law firm and legal administrative experience required.
