Job description

Sky King Fireworks of  Smyrna, GA is seeking a part-time Retail Key Holder Associate to aid in the day to day operation of our retail store. This position will directly support our Store Manager and provide additional leadership support to our seasonal retail staff. Come work in the fun and exciting industry of fireworks!

Hourly Pay Rate: $15.00-$16.00
Required work schedule hours as follows:

  • Tuesday-Wednesday & Saturday-Sunday
  • Stores hours 11AM-7PM for a total of 32 hours per week (out of season)
  • Additional hours are required during our holiday seasons 4th of July & New Years in the months of May, June, July & December. 

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Opening and closing the store
  • Provide customer service and sales support
  • Operate a cash register, process credit and cash payments
  • Use of pallet jack/ Industrial dolly
  • Stocking-Merchandising showroom- lifting 25-50lbs routinely
  • Unloading freight from delivery trucks
  • Learn the basic functions of product performance  
  • Maintaining sales floor appearance
  • Aid in visual merchandising of showroom
  • General cleaning and store maintenance duties 
  • All other duties assigned by management

Qualifications/Requirements:

  • No previous retail fireworks experience needed
  • 1-2 years Retail/Customer service experience
  • 1-2 years supervisory/team leadership experience preferred
  • Must be able to work weekends
  • Must be available to work extended hours during the months of May/June/July/December
  • Ability to walk, stand and lift 25-50 lbs for extended periods of time
