Firefighter  (Full-Time & Part-Time) | Kunkle Fire Company — Dallas Township

At Kunkle Fire Company, we are dedicated to protecting lives, property, and the environment across Dallas and Monroe Townships . We are seeking courageous, driven, and team-oriented Firefighters to join our emergency response crew. Working alongside experienced line officers and medical personnel, you will operate modern apparatus, combat structural and wildland fires, handle rescue operations, and deliver vital pre-hospital medical support in a close-knit, community-focused environment.

What You’ll Do

  • Fight & Protect: Perform fire suppression operations, entry, search and rescue, ventilation, and salvage activities at incident scenes.
  • Provide Emergency Care: Respond to medical emergencies and assist paramedic/EMT partners with patient care and stabilization.
  • Operate & Maintain: Drive and operate engines, tankers, and rescue vehicles, maintaining readiness of all equipment and turnout gear.
  • Mitigate Hazards: Respond to vehicle accidents, hazardous material spills, technical rescues, and severe weather incidents.
  • Engage the Community: Participate in fire prevention programs, public education, station tours, and continuous tactical training.

What We’re Looking For

  • Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Certifications: Firefighter I (NFPA 1001) preferred (Firefighter II is a plus).
  • Medical: Current PA EMT-B or EMR Certification & Professional Rescuer CPR.
  • Driving: Valid Driver’s License with EVOC (Emergency Vehicle Operator Course) certification.
  • Hazardous Materials: HazMat Awareness or Operations level certification.
  • Physical Fitness: Ability to pass a job-related physical agility test and medical evaluation.
