As a Fired Heater Integrity Optimization Manager, you are leading a team of consulting engineers while providing technicalexpertisein inspection, assessment, and integrity optimization of fired equipment. Youdeliverconsulting services focused on performance improvement, risk mitigation, and asset life management. You are collaborating with global teams, supporting software tools such asLifeQuestandCorrectIR, and contributing to business development initiatives. You are mentoring engineers, managing client relationships, and driving continuous improvement in technical solutions and engineering practices.

As a Fired Heater Integrity Optimization Manager, youareresponsible for:

  • Managingassigned consulting engineers in theintegrity ofoptimization management of fired equipment.

  • Providingconsulting services related to the integrity optimization management of fired equipment that includes performance and reliability optimization, fitness for service and remaining life assessment, risk assessment, and failure analysis.

  • Providingtechnical and training consulting services with respect toCorrectIRapplication and implementation, including management of assigned client licenses.

  • Product supportingfor and development of software applications related to the integrity optimization management of fired equipment (e.g.,LifeQuestHeater,LifeQuestReformer,CorrectIR) by working closely with the software business team.

  • Providingleadership and mentoring to junior Assessment Engineers

  • Maintainingproficienciesin other Advanced Engineering service roles as applicable (e.g., Inspector, Risk and Failure Analysis, and Assessment Engineer) andprovidingproject support for other business teams as requested.

  • Engagingin and contribute to business development within Advanced Engineering and other business teams as requested.

  • Providingtechnical and project management support to Process and other business teams as requested.

  • Managingclient expectations and delivery of services andcommunicatingto client results and recommendations.

  • Independently seek out technical knowledge thatestablishesindustry credibility and subject matterexpertisein fired equipment by presenting andparticipatingin industry recognized conferences,trainingand events.

  • Providingrecommendations to drive improvement in processes, technical solutions, inspection andassessment oftechnology, and software applications.

  • Actingin accordance withcompany policiesrequiredas part of the engineeringoptimization ofdeliverable activities.

  • Comply withall local governmentalrequirementsset forth to perform required duties.

  • Always make safety a top priority.

  • Have5+ years of experience in the process, refinery, or petrochemical industry.

  • Have willingness to travel up to 33% (domestic and international).

Working Conditions

  • Working in office, field, and client site environments including refinery and petrochemical facilities.

  • Exposure to heavy industrial equipment, heights, confined spaces, and varying environmental conditions.

  • Working extended hours in field assignments (up to 12-16 hours/day).

  • Lifting upto 70 pounds and wearing full safety gear whenrequired.

  • Traveling extensively (up to 33%) both domestically and internationally.

The annual pay scale for this position is between $106,290.00 - $197,580.00.

Candidates for this role (office-based/ hybrid/ remote) must be located in or near the locations displayed above. The pay range/scale displayed above represents Baker Hughes' good faith estimate of the minimum and maximum for this position at the time of this posting and applies to the possible locations for this position. Baker Hughes will issue a non-bias competitive offer; the salary range posted for this position reflects the projected hiring range for new hires, full-time salaries in some U.S. locations, not including equity or benefits. Where an applicant will ultimately fall within the pay range/scale depends on a variety of factors, including, for example, geographic work location, skillset, qualifications, internal pay alignment, level of experience, and demonstrated performance over time. Please keep in mind that the range stated above is the full base salary range for the role and does not include other forms of compensation. You will be eligible to participate in Company-sponsored benefit programs, including health & welfare programs and the Thrift Plan (401k). You will have a choice of coverage options that best suit your needs. Coverage options and contribution amounts are related to your benefit elections, base salary level, and specific requirements of each of these plans.

You will be eligible to participate in the Baker Hughes Short-term incentive plan applicable for the above position. The actual payout for your short-term incentive award will be based on company and individual performance and is contingent upon Baker Hughes achieving pre-determined financial results.

This position is eligible for our comprehensive and competitive benefits package, which can be found here, and is further eligible for additional forms of compensation such as bonuses subject to the terms of the applicable benefit plans or policies.
