Job Overview
Service Fire, Inc. is seeking a licensed and experienced Fire Sprinkler Inspector to join our field operations team. This role is responsible for conducting code-compliant inspections and testing of commercial and industrial fire sprinkler systems. Ideal candidates are detail-oriented professionals with a current Texas RME-I license and a strong understanding of NFPA standards. Key Responsibilities

  • Perform routine inspections, testing, and maintenance of fire sprinkler systems per NFPA 13 & NFPA 25, state, and local codes.

  • Complete detailed inspection reports and maintain accurate documentation of all findings and corrective actions.

  • Verify proper system operation and ensure compliance with all applicable fire protection standards.

  • Collaborate with property owners, contractors, and project managers to resolve inspection issues.

  • Identify deficiencies and recommend system repairs or upgrades.

  • Maintain a professional appearance and represent Service Fire with excellence at all client sites.

  • Maintain company-issued tools, equipment, and vehicles in clean and functional condition.

  • Support safety culture by adhering to OSHA and company-specific safety protocols.

Qualifications

  • Current RME-I License issued by the State of Texas โ€” required.

  • Minimum 3โ€“5 years of fire sprinkler experience in commercial or industrial environments.

  • Deep knowledge of fire sprinkler systems, components, and applicable codes (NFPA, NEC, etc.).

  • Familiarity with inspection software, tablets, and digital reporting tools.

  • Ability to interpret blueprints, system drawings, and technical specifications.

  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and customer service skills.

  • Valid driverโ€™s license with a clean driving record.

  • High school diploma or GED required

Schedule
