Job description

A Fire Sprinkler Inspector will be responsible for the inspection and testing of fire sprinkler systems, fire pumps, and associated equipment. You will be performing routine testing and inspecting of Fire Sprinkler systems, troubleshooting and repairs, minor changes and modifications, Backflow testing, and fire pump testing.

Key responsibilities:

  • Annual, quarterly, 3 year and 5 year fire sprinkler inspections
  • Inspection of fire pumps, stand pipes, and all associated fire sprinkler system equipment
  • Performing regular maintenance of existing systems
  • Troubleshooting and repairing issues with sprinkler systems
  • Collaborating with team members to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget
  • Ensuring compliance with safety regulations and fire codes

Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years of experience in fire sprinkler inspections
  • Licensed Fire Sprinkler Inspector - Florida
  • NICET Level II Inspection and Testing of Water-Based Systems Certified.
  • Backflow Testing Certified.
  • Strong knowledge of fire sprinkler systems and related equipment
  • Experience with both wet and dry sprinkler systems
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
  • Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
  • Ability to work with computers, cloud base service management systems, building reports

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Sprinkler Technician
  • Strong knowledge of fire sprinkler systems and related equipment

  • Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities

FASA/BASA is a plus but not required.
