Certified Fire Investigator

Position Overview

A leading national forensic investigation firm is seeking experienced Fire Investigators to join its growing team of experts across the United States. This opportunity is ideal for professionals with strong fire origin and cause investigation experience who are looking to work independently while benefiting from the support, resources, and collaboration of an established organization.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct fire and explosion investigations to determine origin and cause.

Perform detailed scene examinations, evidence collection, and documentation.

Prepare clear, accurate, and comprehensive investigative reports.

Maintain professional communication with clients, attorneys, insurance carriers, and other stakeholders.

Provide expert testimony during depositions, mediations, and court proceedings when required.

Manage multiple investigations efficiently while meeting project deadlines.

Adhere to industry standards, best practices, and applicable regulations.

Qualifications

Extensive experience in fire investigation and origin-and-cause determination.

Strong analytical, technical, and problem-solving abilities.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Ability to work independently and manage investigations from assignment through completion.

Courtroom and deposition experience preferred.
