At Fireline Sprinkler LLC, protecting lives and property are at the heart of everything we do. As a full-service fire protection contractor, we specialize in the design, installation, inspection, testing, and maintaining of commercial fire sprinkler systems.

As our Charleston, SC continues to grow, we are looking to add a Fire Alarm Supervisor. This role is responsible for overseeing and performing the installation, inspection, testing, programming, maintenance, and repair of fire alarm systems.


Responsibilities:

  • Install, program, test, inspect, maintain, and repair fire alarm systems.

  • Perform fire alarm inspections in accordance with applicable codes and standards.

  • Supervise, train, mentor, and support fire alarm technicians.

  • Coordinate and direct daily work schedules and field activities.

  • Oversee daily operations related to fire alarm installations, inspections, service, and maintenance.

  • Lead troubleshooting efforts and provide technical support for complex system issues.

  • Direct system testing, commissioning, configuration, and acceptance activities.

  • Ensure quality workmanship and compliance with all applicable regulations and company procedures.

  • Assist with deficiency reporting, repair recommendations, and quotation preparation.

  • Maintain accurate inspection reports, service records, and project documentation.

  • Serve as a primary point of contact for customers regarding service, inspections, repairs, and project status.

  • Build and maintain positive customer relationships through professional communication and service.

  • Provide end-user training on the proper operation of fire alarm systems following project completion.

  • Promote and enforce workplace safety policies and procedures.


Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in fire alarm installation, service, inspections, and troubleshooting.

  • Previous supervisory or leadership experience preferred.

  • Strong knowledge of fire alarm systems, applicable codes, and industry standards.

  • Excellent communication, leadership, organizational, and customer service skills.

  • Ability to read and interpret plans, specifications, and technical documents.

  • Relevant certifications (NICET or similar) preferred.

  • Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record.

  • Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, construction management, or project management preferred.
