Pay Range: $45.00-$60.00 Per Hour

  • This position is Service Contract Act which is subject to Health & Welfare benefits
  • Minimum 40 hours of work a week guaranteed

SUMMARY: We are looking for a Fire Protection Technician to join our team, with a focus on servicing and maintaining fire alarm systems for the Department of Defense. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, inspecting, testing, and repairing a variety of fire protection equipment such as fire alarms, automatic sprinkler systems, foam extinguishing systems, FM-200 suppression systems, and more. This role plays a critical part in helping our clients stay compliant with local fire codes and safety standards..
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Install, inspect, test, repair, and maintain fire protection systems (alarms, sprinkler, FM-200, AFF, etc.)
  • Perform routine service and maintenance of fire safety systems in accordance with local, state, and national codes.
  • Complete inspection reports and service documentation accurately and promptly.
  • Troubleshoot systems and recommend corrective actions.
  • Ensure all work meets NFPA standards, building codes, and customer requirements.
  • Communicate effectively with clients and team members.
  • Stay up to date with fire safety standards and industry best practices.
