We're looking for:
A Backend Engineer with experience in Fintech or marketplaces who will be at the forefront of our mission to bring better finance solutions to millions of businesses in the United States. We need high-achieving and goal-oriented individual who will help Nitra to deliver on an ambitious roadmap of innovative banking and SaaS products.
Your responsibilities will include:
  • Independently communicate with Customer Support to investigate and resolve customer-reported issues.
  • Design database schemas and APIs for small-to-medium scoped features.
  • Implement features following internal engineering principles and guidelines.
  • Provide estimates for their own work and communicate progress and risks proactively to the team.
You have:
  • Deep experience with and understanding of:
  • JavaScript (5+ years)
  • Node.js (5+ years)
  • Express.js framework (2+ years)
  • APIs (5+ years)/Building fintech backend APIs (1+ years)
  • Databases (PostGreSQL) (2+ years)

The base salary range for this full-time position is $130k - $190k + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Please note that the compensation details listed reflect the base salary only, and do not include bonus, equity, or benefits.
