About the Team/Role

WEX Inc is seeking a self-driven and motivated professional to join our growing Global Resilience team. As a Global Resilience Analyst, you will report to and collaborate with the Senior Manager of Global Resilience to analyze and identify areas of risk, ensuring robust business continuity is in place for successful outcomes.

The successful candidate will play a key role in managing and driving Operational Resilience in a fast-moving, changing Fintech environment.

How you'll make an impactBusiness Continuity (BC)
  • BIA Interviews: Lead and conduct comprehensive Business Impact Analysis (BIA) interviews across various departments to determine critical recovery requirements.

  • Plan Development: Work directly with business units to develop, document, and maintain recovery plans and manual/off-line procedures where required.

  • Workshops: Facilitate professional workshops and provide training sessions to educate stakeholders and drive engagement with resilience programs.

  • Strategic Alignment: Support the Senior Manager's efforts to streamline processes for operational resilience between technology groups and business units.

IT Disaster Recovery (IT DR)
  • Technical Integration: Partner with technology teams for the testing and reporting on the results.

  • Infrastructure Knowledge: Maintain knowledge of business-critical applications, system platforms, and technical infrastructure similar to payment processing platforms which supports business continuity.

Tabletop Exercises
  • Design & Execution: Proven track record of designing and conducting risk-based tabletop exercises that simulate realistic disruption scenarios.

  • Reporting & Remediation: Write detailed post-exercise reports and provide actionable remediation strategies where gaps are identified.

  • Metrics: Utilize agreed-upon metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of program outcomes following testing activities.

Global Regulatory Requirements:

  • Demonstrate a strong understanding of Global Resilience frameworks, specifically Digital Operational Resilience Act (DORA) and FCA and CBI requirements for Operational Resilience (OpRes) , and FDIC regulatory requirements concerning resilience and risk management.

  • Maintain the Mapping Exercise for DORA and the Self Assessment for OpRes.

Experience you'll bring
  • Education & Certification: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field and a minimum of 2-3 years of relevant experience. Certification in Business Continuity Planning (BCP) or equivalent is required.

  • Regulatory Expertise: Deep knowledge of regulatory requirements (DORA, OpRes); FDIC, HIPAA, HiTrust, NIST and ISO standards for operational resilience/business continuity is a distinct advantage.

  • Technical Proficiency: Advanced user of Google Workspace products (Docs, Sheets, Slides) and experience with cloud-based tools like BCIC and Everbridge.

  • Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a proven ability to build relationships and deliver high-quality presentations to senior leadership.

  • Artificial Intelligence: Skilled in utilizing AI platforms, including Gemini and Notebook LM, to enhance operational productivity and advance process optimization.

The base pay range represents the anticipated low and high end of the pay range for this position. Actual pay rates will vary and will be based on various factors, such as your qualifications, skills, competencies, and proficiency for the role. Base pay is one component of WEX's total compensation package. Most sales positions are eligible for commission under the terms of an applicable plan. Non-sales roles are typically eligible for a quarterly or annual bonus based on their role and applicable plan.
