In this role, your primary responsibilities will be to games localization program, where you will ideate, advocate, and collaborate to deliver program-level strategies, technology, and processes that enable scalable and high-quality localization across a spectrum of components serving the games business. You will work with Producers, Program Managers, Product Managers, Designers, Engineers, and others across a diversity of organizations to achieve Games' goals. You will need to be ever curious and forward-looking to anticipate globalization needs and challenges across each of your assigned programs.

This is a highly innovative space for Netflix meaning your input and contributions will be vital to the success of Games at Netflix. You will also be the primary accountable stakeholder for a portfolio of games. In this role, you will use your localization and gaming experience to develop and manage relationships and strategies with game studios (both internal and external), vendors, and cross-functional teams across Netflix to localize your games and publishing assets and materials into a wide set of languages.

You will develop and oversee the localization strategy, schedule, budget, and quality targets for your assigned games throughout the project lifecycle, and proactively identify, prioritize, and mitigate risks and blockers encountered along the way. You will be responsible for ensuring the successful launch of games internationally and then making sure we can repeat that at scale. Whether you are having strategic conversations with Netflix Product or font conversations with game developers, your focus will be the global member experience and how we can continue to build a better global product and games offering.

As a Senior member of the team, you will model inclusivity, you will support the team's work through frequent and honest feedback, and you will help mentor, develop, and grow others on the team. The environment is fast-paced, requiring the ability to learn quickly, work autonomously with minimal supervision, and manage aggressive deadlines. You will need to demonstrate excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work through ambiguity comfortably and effectively.

The right mix of organizational and communication skills is key to success. Attention to detail and a proven ability to manage priorities are also essential. Required Experience/Skills: 8+ years experience in senior level, buyer-side localization production or program management working in the field of software development 4+ years experience working in games development, preferably with both internal and external development teams Experience leading large-scale technical and cross-functional programs from design to delivery Working knowledge of industry-standard localization tools Understanding of internationalization and i18n best practices Understanding AI applications for loc operations and fulfillment is a plus Understanding localization accessibility best practices is a plus Understanding localization requirements for mobile games publishing (iOS/Google Play) is a plus Fluency in a non-English language is a plus Fast learner with the ability to retain knowledge Excellent written and verbal communication skills, adapted for the audience Great at identifying opportunities and pitfalls, both short and long term, and employing a keen eye for detail in planning against them Passionate for games, as well as the work and mission of our team Naturally curious and collaborative, constantly ideating creative ways to improve Comfortable employing judgment with a high degree of independence Thrives in ambiguity.

Comfortable in chaos. Inclusive and supportive of peers. Generally, our compensation structure consists solely of an annual salary; we do not have bonuses.

You choose each year how much of your compensation you want in salary versus stock options. To determine your personal top of market compensation, we rely on market indicators and consider your specific job family, background, skills, and experience to determine your compensation in the market range. The range for this role is $230,000.00 - $360,000.00

This compensation range will vary based on location. Netflix provides comprehensive benefits including Health Plans, Mental Health support, a 401(k) Retirement Plan with employer match, Stock Option Program, Disability Programs, Health Savings and Flexible Spending Accounts, Family-forming benefits, and Life and Serious Injury Benefits. We also offer paid leave of absence programs.
