About the Role
You will lead complex, high-impact client engagements within the Payments Professional Services organization, delivering customized solutions across application development, testing, and consulting. This role drives successful execution of large-scale initiatives with significant visibility, risk, and business impact. You will operate with a high degree of autonomy, influencing stakeholders and guiding cross-functional teams to deliver measurable results. Success is defined by delivering projects on time, within scope and budget, while advancing operational efficiency and client satisfaction.

What You Will Be Doing

  • Lead end-to-end delivery of complex, high-visibility projects ranging from 500 to 4,000 project hours
  • Manage project budgets of $100K to $1M, ensuring financial accountability and delivery success
  • Lead cross-functional teams of 5 to 15+ members to achieve client and business objectives
  • Define project scope, timelines, resources, and milestones while managing risks and dependencies
  • Partner with clients, stakeholders, and business leaders to deliver strategic solutions and measurable outcomes
  • Apply Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall methodologies across diverse project environments
  • Drive process improvements and delivery best practices to increase efficiency and quality
  • Communicate project status, risks, and outcomes to stakeholders, including executive leadership
  • Utilize project management tools to monitor progress, performance metrics, and issue resolution
  • Mentor team members and foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent experience
  • 8+ years of experience managing complex technology projects in financial services, fintech, or similar industries
  • Proven success delivering large-scale projects with defined budgets, timelines, and risk management requirements
  • Strong knowledge of project management frameworks, including PMBOK, Agile (Scrum), and Waterfall
  • Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and influence senior stakeholders
  • Advanced project planning, budgeting, forecasting, and resource management skills
  • Experience with project management and portfolio tools such as Microsoft Project, Planview, and risk management platforms
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, negotiation, and decision-making capabilities

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience leading custom code deployment projects within fintech environments
  • Professional services or client-facing project delivery experience
  • PMP, Agile, Scrum Master, or related project management certification
  • Experience with Lean, Six Sigma, or other process improvement methodologies
  • Strong executive communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills
