Brighton Center, Inc. is a private non-profit community-based organization with the mission to create opportunities for individuals and families to reach self-sufficiency through family support services, education, employment, and leadership. Purpose:

Provide financial coaching services, assess housing affordability, and connect families to community resources. Facilitate Financial Education, Homeownership workshops, and one-on-one sessions to equip individuals with the knowledge and skills necessary to remove financial barriers and meet their housing and financial goals.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Assist individuals and families in gaining financial independence through education, coaching, and connection to resources.
  • Conduct community and customer outreach
  • Coaching and service planning with an emphasis on financial coaching, housing counseling, asset building, and home ownership
  • Meet program reporting requirements

Requirements:

  • Commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion
  • Completion of HUD Certification within 90 days
  • Knowledge of community resources
  • Proficient in database applications and Microsoft programs
  • Experience in customer service or finance/banking
  • Occasional evening and weekend hours
