Overview

A financial services organization based in Chicago, is seeking a Senior Manager, Mortgage Business & Transaction Management to oversee complex mortgage-related transactions and strategic business initiatives.

This role manages the end-to-end execution of mortgage and capital markets transactions, ensuring activities are completed accurately, efficiently, and in compliance with applicable regulatory and operational requirements. The position works closely with internal stakeholders, external partners, and legal teams to coordinate due diligence, contract negotiation, approvals, and closing activities.

The ideal candidate has deep experience in mortgage or structured finance transactions, strong stakeholder management skills, and the ability to lead cross-functional initiatives.


Key ResponsibilitiesTransaction Management
  • Manage end-to-end transaction execution including planning, due diligence, documentation, approvals, and closing activities.

  • Review and negotiate contracts, purchase and sale agreements, and related transaction documentation.

  • Track transaction timelines, milestones, and deliverables to ensure successful execution.

Risk & Compliance Oversight
  • Identify potential transaction risks and work with internal teams to resolve issues.

  • Ensure transaction structures and documentation align with internal policies and regulatory requirements.

  • Coordinate with legal, compliance, and finance teams to maintain appropriate governance and documentation.

Stakeholder Coordination
  • Serve as a key point of contact between internal teams, external partners, and legal counsel during transaction execution.

QualificationsEducation
