Job description

Financial Services Assistant


TMS Financial is dedicated to being the premier provider of comprehensive tax and financial services for individuals and businesses alike.  For more than three decades, we have been a trusted partner in helping clients achieve financial success. Our team provides a full range of services - including tax preparation, small business accounting, investment planning and insurance services - all designed to meet your unique financial goals with integrity and expertise.

TMS Financial is currently looking to hire a full-time Financial Services Assistant for our Green Bay office. 

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Proven understanding of investment products and financial industry
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Detail-oriented with a desire for greatest degree of accuracy
  • Ability to learn and adapt to new computer programs, software and technology while welcoming change and opportunities to continuously learn and improve
  • Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree in Finance, Business, Accounting, Marketing or related field (preferred but not required)
  • 3+ years of experience in finance or investment industry (preferred but not required)

Responsibilities:

  • Process new accounts, transfers, contributions and redemptions, beneficiary changes, address changes
  • Input and maintain accurate client information in all appropriate databases and software applications
  • Research and resolve client concerns, questions, or requests
  • Verify all requests are received and handled to completion
  • Effectively manage and prioritize workflow
  • Client interaction including inbound phone calls and scheduling of various appointments
  • Learn and run various specialized financial software applications
  • Create, enhance, and maintain various reports, database projects and other special projects as directed
