Position: Financial Sales Manager I
Location: Capehart (Bellevue)
Hours: 40 hours per week and as needed, some Saturday's required.
General Summary:
The primary purpose of this position is to assist Centris Federal Credit Union in our mission to be a trusted life-long financial partner. Promote the development and growth of Centris through effective management of branch staff.
Essential Responsibilities:
  • Provide leadership to the organization and staff by promoting and modeling the Centris Vision, Mission, Values and Team Principles.
    • Contribute to public relations and community involvement initiatives.
  • Provide unparalleled service to both internal and external members in accordance with the Centris Service promises.
    • Create and/or develop long lasting relationships with internal and external members, vendors, community leaders or partners, and other business contacts.
    • Serve the financial needs of members by identifying needs, recommending products or services, and performing transactions and/or functional duties efficiently and accurately.
    • Analyze, evaluate and underwrite loan applications and perform within established lending limits (North Platte and Grand Island branches only).
  • Direct, oversee and manage the activities of the Credit Union branch to support vision, mission and organizational goals, and ensure results.
    • Define business unit goals, operating plan, and annual budget.
    • Manage staff, operations, resources, procedures, and sales initiatives to ensure effective execution of plans.
    • Develop and execute branch marketing plan.

Job Requirements:
  • Technical Skills and Experience Requirement

    • Must have a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Management or related field or additional related work experience.
    • Must have three years progressive experience in a financial institution with two years lending experience.
    • Must have two years leadership or supervisory experience

  • People Skills Requirement

    • Must have the ability to work effectively independently and in a team environment.
    • Must be able to effectively communicate with members, staff, vendors, credit union volunteers, financial institutions, federal or state regulators, legal counsel, federal examiners, auditors, community leaders or partners, and other business contacts.
    • Must be able to effectively lead and manage others.
    • Must be able to effectively present information and concepts to a small or moderate sized group.

  • Physical Skills Requirement

    • Must be able to effectively access and interpret computer screens, documents, and reports.
    • Must be able to operate general office equipment.
    • Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.

  • Must be able to stand for more than two hours without sitting.

Other Requirements
    • Must report to work regularly and on time.
    • Must be able to work the hours necessary to fulfill the responsibilities of the position.

  • Must be knowledgeable in BSA and compliance requirements enforced on the credit union by state and federal law as applicable.
