Summary of Role:

The Finance and Risk Analyst will play an important role on GF's Risk Management team supporting the corporate insurance function across M&A and other key lines of coverage in addition to managing credit risk across a portfolio of customer accounts.

The ideal candidate should have strong project management and problem-solving skills, a continuous improvement mindset, and the ability to communicate effectively cross functionally and at all levels, including Senior Management.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Lead annual renewal process for assigned lines of insurance coverage; Manage the day-to-day operations for these lines including NDA management, invoice processing, claim management
  • Primary team leader for M&A insurance placement
  • Maintain projected rate model; Prepare and send quarterly market update presentation
  • Conduct Credit Assessments to evaluate customer creditworthiness
  • Make credit recommendations that balance risk mitigation and achieving business objectives
  • Process credit hold releases
  • Reporting for master credit, credit utilization and credit KPI's
  • Propose, develop and maintain credit scoring models
  • Identify and implement process improvements, including utilizing automation and AI
  • Collaboration with multiple teams across the company globally including Commercial and Business Unit Finance, Sales, Collections, Corp Development, and Supply Chain to proactively drive forward all duties
  • Assistance with special projects, such as system UAT testing

Other Responsibilities:

Perform all activities in a safe and responsible manner and support all Environmental, Health, Safety & Security requirements and programs.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Risk Management, or equivalent field of study.
  • 3 - 5 years of experience in finance, credit management and/or risk management for a global company.
  • Team player able to work and build relationships with global and cross-functional teams in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills with the ability to interact effectively at all levels across the organization and with external business partners.
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Continuous improvement mindset: Constantly looking for innovative ways to build and improve processes and deliverables.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong project management, planning, and organizational skills.
  • Strong skills in Excel, Power BI and PowerPoint.
  • Proficiency in Oracle and SAP S/4 HANA

Expected Salary Range

$72,000.00 - $126,000.00
