Title: Financial Reporting Manager
Duration: 3 Months
Location: Portland, OR
Job Description
This role is a key member of the accounting team, overseeing and directing the financial reporting and analysis activities of the department, including the filing of consolidated financial statements and regulatory reports in connection with SEC and regulatory reporting requirements. This position is responsible for ensuring the accurate and timely filing of reports reflecting the Company's operating results, financial condition, and cash flows.

  • Oversees the preparation ofquarterly and annual filings with the SEC, including Forms 10-K, 10-Q,8-K, and 11-K.
  • Provides oversight and reviewof consolidated financial statements and supporting accounting workpapers.
  • Oversees the collaborationacross departments, including coordinating the review of quarterly SECfilings among the Controller, Corporate Secretary, Investor Relations andAccounting.
  • Monitors and ensures thetimely identification of and compliance with new accounting guidance andcomplex disclosure and reporting matters.
  • Contributes to thedevelopment, execution, and management of the monthly reporting packagefor the monthly close process which is utilized by the Company's FinanceCommittee to analyze results.
  • Completes and overseesinternal control procedures to ensure compliance with the Sarbanes-OxleyAct.
  • Participates in the research,resolution, and documentation of technical accounting issues.
  • Assists with the preparationand review of the Proxy Statement.
  • Oversees the financialreporting for our subsidiaries.
  • Oversees the preparation ofcertain FERC Form 2 sections.
  • Assists in the preparationand review of ad hoc management reporting.
  • Leads the financial reportingteam through the execution of the reporting process; establishes teamperformance goals and objectives for each year; and develops, trains, andmentors team members with ongoing performance feedback.
  • Demonstrates appropriateleadership and decision-making behaviors; maintains technical jobknowledge and personal skill development. Committed to coaching anddeveloping employees.
  • Participates in other ad hocprojects as required.
  • Participate as a subjectmatter expert for external audit preparation, data gathering in order todemonstrate compliance.
  • Acts as a technical resourcefor others.
