Overview

Hexagon's Autonomous Solutions division is seeking a Process Owner, Finance to play a leading role in the successful delivery of the AS-wide SAP S/4HANA ERP transformation while establishing the long-term governance, performance, and continuous improvement framework for their assigned enterprise process domains. Reporting to the Sr. Director, Process Performance & Governance, this role serves as the primary business authority for process design, standardization, adoption, and process-related decision making across divisions, regions, and Global Services.

Acting as the enterprise process authority for their assigned domain, the Process Owner, Finance will lead future-state process design, drive business alignment across the organization, establish enterprise standards, and champion the adoption of new ways of working enabled through SAP S/4HANA. Working in close partnership with business leaders, Global Services, implementation partners, and peer Process Owners, this role will help ensure the successful deployment, stabilization, and realization of business value from the ERP transformation. Following implementation, the Process Owner will retain ongoing accountability for process governance, performance management, and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

AsProcess Owner, Financeyou will be responsible for these activities:

  • Define, maintain, and continuously improve enterprise-level finance process standards, policies, controls, and operating procedures.
  • Serve as the authoritative business owner for Record to Report and Project to Result process design, governance, and cross-functional process decisions.
  • Partner with peer Process Owners and business stakeholders to manage process interdependencies, resolve issues, and drive enterprise-wide process alignment.
  • Establish governance routines, performance monitoring, issue resolution mechanisms, and continuous improvement roadmaps.
  • Build strong relationships across divisions, regions, and Global Services to support process ownership, adoption, and advocacy.
  • Partner with business leaders, SMEs, IT, data owners, change management teams, and implementation partners to ensure future-state processes are effective and sustainable.
  • Approve process documentation, controls, requirements, role definitions, and key design decisions impacting the finance process domain.
  • Define process KPIs, measure performance, establish baselines, and drive corrective actions when targets are not achieved.
  • Support ERP transformation initiatives, including process design, integration, testing, training, cutover, hypercare, and transition to operational governance.
  • Drive consistency across financial structures, project governance, investment controls, and management accounting practices.
  • Act as the senior business representative and decision-maker for assigned process domains within the SAP S/4HANA ERP program.
  • Drive global process standardization and future-state business design across divisions, functions, and regions
Qualifications

Must Have:

  • Experience owning, transforming, or governing enterprise business processes in a complex, multi-division environment.
  • Strong understanding of ERP-enabled operating models, enterprise data structures, controls, reporting, and cross-functional process dependencies.
  • Ability to translate business requirements into practical process standards, governance frameworks, and technology-enabled solutions.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence senior stakeholders, resolve process conflicts, and balance standardization with business needs.
  • Strong analytical, facilitation, communication, documentation, and continuous improvement skills.
  • Experience working with finance and project governance processes including Record to Report and Project to Result.
