As an Insurance and Wealth Associate in our newly created Prospr by Sun Life team your work will directly contribute to our mission of helping clients achieve lifetime financial security and live healthier lives.

As a member of our dynamic team, you will play an integral role supporting new and existing clients with service needs as well as encouraging them to consult with our fully licensed Prospr Advisors who will provide holistic Life, Health and Wealth solutions.

Reporting to the Sales Manager, Prospr by Sun Life, you will:

  • Answer calls from our existing Prospr block of clients with the goal of fulfilling their service needs
  • Make outbound calls to clients who have submitted service requests; service requests include but are not limited to policy level changes, beneficiary changes, and account reviews
  • Make outbound calls to new and existing clients to identify new sales opportunities and offer financial planning services
  • Manage the death claims process and fulfill outstanding death claims
  • Support and triage clients entering the Prospr platform through the chat function

What do you need to succeed?

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to build credibility and rapport
  • Experience in blended or outbound Call Centre or telephone service
  • Knowledge / experience within the financial services industry
  • Strong relationship building and problem solving skills
  • Availability on a variable schedule Monday to Friday between 8am to 8pm
  • Ability to leverage digital tools to create engaging client interactions
  • Adaptable and resourceful

The Base Pay range is for the primary location for which the job is posted. It may vary depending on the work location of the successful candidate or other factors. In addition to Base Pay, eligible Sun Life employees participate in various incentive plans, payment under which is discretionary and subject to individual and company performance. Certain sales focused roles have sales incentive plans based on individual or group sales results.
