What is the opportunity?

RBC Wealth Management Financial Services Inc. is currently seeking an Estate Planning Associate to join a well-established estate planning team. The team focuses on developing strategic insurance solutions that complement the wealth management needs of high-net-worth clients. As an Estate Planning Associate, the main focus of your role is to provide impeccable client service and to take care of administrative duties related to the management of in-force business. You will be a people person who loves social interactions and building relationships. You will participate in growing the business by providing a superior client experience, being proactive about follow-ups, and providing efficient and seamless administrative support.

What will you do?

  • Service the in-force block of business
  • Follow up with clients, carriers, etc.
  • Run illustrations for life insurance products and concepts
  • Prepare documents and files for client meetings
  • Develop relationships with partnering life company wholesalers, case coordinators, and underwriters to ensure the business is handled efficiently
  • Provide impeccable service to our clients

What do you need to succeed?

Must-have

  • Professional work experience in an insurance agency or equivalent role within the industry
  • Representative's certificate in insurance of persons issued by the Autorite des marches financiers (AMF)
  • Knowledge of Life and Living Benefits insurance products
  • Bilingualism (English and French) required, as you will regularly serve our clients and do business with RBC partners and/or employees across Canada with English and French speaking needs
  • Excellent client service skills
  • Experience with meeting tight deadlines and setting priorities; ability to work independently
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft 365 apps, especially Excel

Nice-to-have
