Sales and Operations Planning Associate

Role Overview
The Sales and Operations Planning Associate provides a variety of support duties for the Parts Planning team. This internship position will provide training within Parts Planning, Parts Operations, Supply Chain, and Engineering departments through on-the-job training.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
  • Develop quarterly parts repair forecast for ORC.
  • Issue monthly repair status report to LTSA team.
  • Build monthly repair financial forecast.
  • Create monthly new parts inventory walk financial forecast.
  • Track and develop reports for Parts Planning KPIs.
  • Catalog repair classification reports into the ORAP Parts Trac database.
  • Develop monthly part repair fallout reports.
  • Review SAP data for accuracy and coordinate updates accordingly.
  • Work alongside Parts Planning team members to develop, author, and maintain procedures for specific processes.
  • Effectively compose correspondence and other communications.
  • Perform other such duties as may be required.
  • Support building of demand status reports.
  • Provide improvement ideas to current reports and KPIs.

• Education and/or Experience: Student in a B.S. Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering or Business Administration program at a University.
• Language Skills: Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one- on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
• Mathematical Skills: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
• Reasoning Ability: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
• Computer Skills: To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Internet software; Spreadsheet software, PowerPoint software and Word Processing software.
