Job Title: Sales Operations Analyst

FLSA Status: Exempt

Job Family: Sales

Department: Sales

Location: Corporate Office (Fort Wayne, IN)

JOB SUMMARY
Assist sales personnel and sales management to carry out project tasks to develop, design, automate, compile, prepare, analyze, summarize and test information used for sales, operational, and/or financial needs. Responsible for collecting, evaluating and analyzing sales information in order to provide observations and recommendations to sales management/staff, agents, and other departments within Brotherhood Mutual.

POSITION ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Understand objectives, business strategies, and key performance indicators to provide actionable information and analysis to support sales growth and business performance.
  • Identify data trends, data discrepancies, and financial data to provide recommended business solutions to the management team.
  • Work with interdepartmental teams to share data for collaborative analysis projects; R&D, Compliance, Underwriting, ERM, BI, Finance, and Marketing.
  • Review operational workflows, document findings, and provide recommendations to sales management.
  • Serve as subject matter expert in data analysis and the use of technology.
  • Conduct complex analysis utilizing various IT platforms to maximize efficiency and provide the most accurate results.
  • Develop and provide ad hoc and scheduled reporting to sales management and related business areas.
  • Create sales dashboards and improve existing dashboards and disseminate information daily.
  • Develop presentations communicating analytical findings.
  • Partner with interdepartmental teams and technology vendors to implement business development initiatives.
  • Assist in execution of project deadlines and schedules.
  • Complete other projects as assigned.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, statistics or related field.
  • Must have two to four years of general business, insurance or financial industry-related experience to include research, qualitative/quantitative business analysis, data mining, or other related experience.
  • Master’s degree is desired.
