Job Summary:

Anthem Memory Care, a person-centered memory care company dedicated to providing the highest quality care, comfort, and support to individuals living with cognitive impairment and their families, is seeking a skilled Financial and Market Analyst to support its financial planning, growth, investment, and strategic decision-making activities. As a key member of our finance team, you will provide financial and market analysis related to existing communities, prospective developments, acquisitions, new markets, capital relationships, and other strategic opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze financial performance and market trends to inform strategic decisions
  • Develop and maintain financial models, including acquisition analysis, market analysis, development and investment underwriting, financial forecasting, and scenario and sensitivity analysis
  • Support forecasting and budgeting activities, as well as respond to information and analysis requests from banking, equity, and other capital partners
  • Provide clear, objective analysis to help Anthem make sound decisions and sustain its ability to serve residents, families, and team members over the long term
  • Maintain financial models, market databases, forecasts, assumptions, and other analytical tools to ensure timely and accurate information

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics, business, real estate, or a related analytical field
  • Approximately 0-3 years of relevant experience in financial analysis, investment analysis, commercial real estate, senior housing, banking, private equity, transaction advisory, FP&A, or a related field
  • Strong Excel and financial modeling skills
  • Solid understanding of financial statements, cash flow, valuation concepts, and investment return measures
  • Ability to analyze large amounts of financial and market information and identify the factors most relevant to a decision
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to explain financial analysis to non-financial audiences
  • High degree of accuracy, organization, follow-through, and personal accountability
  • Ability to handle confidential financial and strategic information with appropriate discretion
