ABOUT THE ROLE
The FP&A Manager is a results-driven finance professional who plays a critical supporting role in advancing the financial planning and analysis function across the Building Envelope business. This role will work closely with the Sr. Director of Finance to deliver key financial processes including reporting, forecasting, budgeting, and margin analysis. The ideal candidate will contribute to transformation initiatives aimed at improving reporting capabilities and modernizing FP&A tools, while providing valuable insights that support margin improvement and operational efficiency.
WHAT YOU'LL ACCOMPLISH
  • Support Sr. Director, Finance to execute monthly financial close activities and provide timely, accurate, an insightful reporting packages.
  • Support the development of annual budgets and rolling forecasts, identifying risks, opportunities, and key business drivers.
  • Assist in transformation of FP&A reporting tools and processes, driving automation, standardization, and improved analytics capabilities.
  • Conduct in-depth financial and variance analysis on P&L, margin performance, cash flow, and capital expenditures.
  • Provide financial modeling and decision support for strategic initiatives and business cases, with a focus on margin improvement and cost optimization.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including operations, sales, and procurement to ensure financial alignment and visibility.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement projects and best practices in FP&A, aligned with global and regional finance initiatives.
  • Support integration-related tasks in coordination with Amrize HQ finance and shared service center teams.
  • Prepare and deliver clear, concise presentations to finance and business leadership as needed.
  • Perform ad-hoc analysis and reporting based on business needs.
  • Demonstrate a commitment to communicating, improving and adhering to health, safety and environmental policies in all work environments and areas.
  • Promote a culture of safety and exhibit these behaviors.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field from an accredited university.
  • 7-10 years of progressive experience in financial planning & analysis or corporate finance roles.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a results-oriented mindset.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills; able to translate financial insights into actionable recommendations.
  • Solid understanding of financial statements and key business drivers (especially margin and cost levers).
  • Proficient in MS Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Experience with control frameworks and financial reporting under IFRS or US GAAP.
  • Strong attention to detail, ability to manage multiple priorities, and comfort working in a dynamic environment.
  • Experience with D365, SAP, BPC, Adaptive Insights, Hyperion, or similar ERP/planning tools.
  • Background in a global or matrixed manufacturing organization.
  • Good understanding of manufacturing cost accounting.
  • Exposure to transformation or process improvement projects within FP&A.
  • Familiarity with developing and building KPI dashboards, margin analytics, and business intelligence tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, SAP Analytics Cloud).

  • Successful candidates must adhere to all safety protocols and proper use of Amrize approved Personal Protection Equipment ("PPE"), including but not limited to respirators.
