POSITION SUMMARY

Reporting to the CFO of Great Outdoors Group, LLC ("Bass Pro Shops"), the Vice President of Finance serves as the senior financial leader for White River Marine Group and a key member of the executive leadership team. This role partners directly with the President of White River Marine Group to drive financial performance, support strategic growth initiatives, and provide the insight and guidance necessary to make informed business decisions across a complex manufacturing organization. The Vice President of Finance is responsible for leading all financial operations for White River Marine Group, including financial planning and analysis, accounting, cost management, treasury, budgeting, forecasting, capital planning, and financial reporting. This leader will oversee the financial performance of multiple manufacturing facilities and support an organization that manufactures and distributes some of the most recognized brands in the marine industry. As a strategic business partner, the Vice President of Finance will work closely with manufacturing, operations, supply chain, sales, and corporate leadership to improve profitability, optimize operational performance, evaluate investments, and support long-term growth objectives. The successful candidate will bring both strong financial expertise and business acumen, helping shape strategy while ensuring sound financial stewardship across the organization. This leader will also develop and lead a high-performing finance and accounting team, fostering a culture rooted in Customer Focus, Teamwork (WINS!), Servant Leadership, and Ownership. Through collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement, the Vice President of Finance will help drive operational excellence and business results across White River Marine Group.

What You Will DoStrategic Financial Leadership

Serve as a trusted advisor to the President of White River Marine Group and executive leadership team, providing financial leadership and recommendations that influence business performance, capital investments, and long-term growth. Lead the development and execution of financial strategies that support profitable growth and operational excellence. Drive long-range financial planning, annual operating plans, and forecasting processes. Partner with executive leadership to evaluate strategic growth opportunities, capital investments, and operational improvement initiatives. Provide financial leadership and analysis to support key business decisions and long-term strategic planning.

Financial Planning & Performance Management

Lead all budgeting, forecasting, financial planning, and performance management processes across the organization. Establish and monitor key financial and operational performance metrics, providing actionable insights to improve profitability, productivity, and efficiency. Analyze financial results, market conditions, and economic trends to identify risks and opportunities. Drive financial accountability across the organization through timely reporting, analysis, and decision support.

Accounting & Financial Operations

Oversee all accounting and financial operations supporting White River Marine Group's manufacturing and corporate functions. Ensure timely, accurate, and transparent financial reporting in accordance with GAAP and company policies. Maintain effective financial controls, processes, and systems that support business growth and operational effectiveness. Partner with operations leadership to optimize manufacturing costs, inventory performance, and working capital management.

Leadership & Team Development

Build, lead, and develop a high-performing finance and accounting organization across multiple locations. Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, continuous improvement, and professional development. Provide coaching and mentorship that enables team members to maximize performance and career growth. Partner across the organization to drive financial accountability and informed decision-making.

What You Will Bring
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field required
  • MBA and/or CPA strongly preferred
  • 15+ years of progressive finance and accounting experience, including senior finance leadership within a complex organization
  • Manufacturing experience preferred, including a strong understanding of cost accounting, inventory management, and operational finance
  • Demonstrated success partnering with executive leadership teams to develop strategy and drive business performance
  • Experience leading multi-site financial operations and geographically dispersed teams
  • Proven ability to evaluate capital investments, develop business cases, and support strategic growth initiatives
  • Strong business acumen and analytical capabilities with the ability to translate complex financial information into business decisions
