Job description


Join the Marketing Finance & Business Management team to turn complex financial data into clear business insight and action. You'll partner across the firm to help shape decisions through forecasting, budgeting, and management reporting. You'll also modernize how results are delivered by streamlining processes and building new reporting capabilities.
As a Senior Associate within the Marketing Finance & Business Management team, you will partner across the firm to deliver financial and strategic analysis, budgeting, and forecasting. You will analyze, reconcile, and translate accounting and technical data into reporting to be delivered on a regular basis and prepare executive-ready insights. You will drive continuous improvement by enhancing controls, streamlining processes, and introducing automation and new reporting capabilities. In addition, you will be advising the line of business CFOs on how to increase profitability and efficiencies and provide support across the department with special projects or components of other projects as needed.
Job Responsibilities
  • Manage annual and continual financial planning for assigned product areas
  • Provide month-end performance and forecast rationales to support business decisions
  • Conduct reviews and deep-dive analyses of product financial performance
  • Analyze consumption/demand planning, budgeting, billing, trends, and exception reporting
  • Develop efficiency reporting, analytics, and strategy insights (e.g., location strategy, span of control)
  • Build financial business cases to support business initiatives
  • Monitor key metrics, drive data-quality initiatives across the product area, and Define forward-looking reporting and analytics needs for the product area
  • Develop and track performance metrics, create presentations, and generally provide financial analysis on a variety of topics to senior management
  • Perform variance analysis and explain key drivers versus prior forecasts/budgets
  • Design new reports/dashboards and streamline processes through controls and automation

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or a subject of a technical nature
  • 4+ years of work experience in Financial Analysis, Business Management, Planning & Analysis, Accounting, Controller or related field
  • Advanced skills in Excel and PowerPoint
  • Proficiency in data mining/gathering and data set manipulation
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to analyze large data sets and present concise conclusions
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills; ability to articulate complex issues clearly
  • Ability to create ad hoc reporting for senior management
  • Proven track record executing special projects with limited lead time and ambiguity
  • Team-oriented approach and the ability to thrive under pressure and tight deadlines with strong prioritization/time management
  • Proven ability to manage relationships and act as a trusted partner to the Business, Finance, and P&A stakeholders
