We are a turnkey concrete construction company located in the Katy area of Houston, TX. Our team is dedicated to delivering high-quality projects and exceeding client expectations. As our company continues to expand, we are seeking a strategic and detail-oriented Controller to join our team and grow with us.

Position Overview

The Controller will play a critical role in overseeing the financial operations of our rapidly growing company. The ideal candidate will supervise the finance and administrative staff, set up and implement financial processes and work closely with senior management to provide financial insights, ensure compliance with regulations, and drive financial strategies that support our business goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee and manage the company’s financial and administrative operations, including accounting, budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
  • Develop and maintain job cost and project cost accounting systems tailored to the construction industry.
  • Ensure accurate tracking and reporting of costs, budgets, and project profitability and cash flow management.
  • Lead month-end and year-end closing processes and prepare financial statements.
  • Implement and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure financial accuracy.
  • Analyze financial data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities and provide actionable recommendations to executive leadership.
  • Manage relationships with external auditors, tax professionals, and financial institutions.
