ADB is seeking a Division Controller to provide high-level accounting and analytical support to our divisional business unit leaders and corporate finance department. This role will maintain a comprehensive control system, prepare financial and management reports, exchange information with stakeholders, analyze growth opportunities and coordinate external audits. The ideal candidate will have proven experience managing accounting outcomes, working directly with operational leaders, overseeing financial from a nationwide perspective, as well as a strong work ethic and ALL IN attitude to achieve results.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Serves as the financial leader for the operational division
  • Responsible for ensuring proper revenue recognition in accordance with USGAAP and compliance with ASC606 specifically as it relates to percentage of completion revenue recognition
  • Manages and facilitates the review of cost incurred to date, estimates to complete, change order approvals in coordination with operations to ensure proper revenue recognition and compliance with USGAAP (ASC606) specifically as it relates to percentage of accounting revenue recognition
  • Responsible for monitoring and reporting the overall billing position and cash flow at a project level
  • Provides timely reports showing actual and projected project financials of varying contract type, size, and scope. Identifies issues within the operating businesses’ and offers improvements in overall financial results
  • Reviews the divisions financial results with Senior Leaders; provides trends, and ratios and reports on financial stability, liquidity, and growth
  • Ability to provide high level excel reports and analysis to support the business
  • Manages all aspects of the division's financial responsibilities, including review of A/R, Unbilled, Capital Spending, and profitability analysis
  • Assists in analyzing the financial impact of operational business decisions and issues affecting the company; provides suggestions for improvement
  • Assist in preparation of Monthly Operating Reports and Scorecards in support of the department and overall business
  • Performs other duties as assigned

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION:
  • 5+ years of Accounting or Finance experience required
  • 3+ years of experience in Construction Accounting experience strongly preferred
  • CPA certification strongly preferred
  • Masters in Business (MBA) strongly preferred
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or equivalent required

The starting pay for this position is $80,000.00 and may vary based on the candidate's skills, experience, and qualifications.
