Associate Advisor - Tempo Wealth

Location: Independence, OH

Tempo Wealth is a fast-growing, fee-only financial planning firm based in Independence, Ohio. We are seeking an Associate Financial Advisor to join our expanding team and play a key role in providing excellent financial advice to our existing clients.

This position can be hybrid after a training period in the office

Salary & Benefits

  • Salary Range: $90,000 - $110,000, commensurate with experience and credentials
  • Company-paid health insurance
  • 401(k) with safe harbor contribution
  • Group life and disability insurance
  • Generous paid time off (PTO), 18 annual holidays, and half-day Fridays throughout the summer
  • No business development requirements

Key Responsibilities

  • Participate in client meetings with the plan to take over client relationships over time
  • Collaborate with internal teams, such as compliance, investment operations, and client service, to ensure all client-related activities are executed efficiently and in line with company standards
  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with clients
  • Understand clients' financial goals and preferences
  • Review and execute on financial planning tasks after client meetings
  • Stay informed on financial market trends and regulatory changes

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in an advisory role
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, both internally and client-facing
  • Warm communication with clients
  • Tech-savvy, with the ability to learn quickly
  • Organized and detail-oriented
  • Problem solving and independent worker - we do not micromanage
  • CFP or ChFC preferred

Qualified candidates will begin with a 15-30-minute Zoom interview conducted by our external hiring consultant. If selected to proceed, candidates will complete a Career History Form and participate in additional interviews with Tempo Wealth leadership. Finalists may also be asked to complete professional assessments.
