I am currently seeking a Financial Analyst for my client based on the South Shore. This is a permanent hybrid position.

Mission

- Monitor and analyze operating expenses by comparing actual results to budgets and forecasts.
- Produce financial analyses to explain observed variances and identify the main influencing factors.
- Prepare and distribute management reports for internal stakeholders.
- Participate in the development of annual budgets as well as in financial review and forecasting exercises.
- Support various teams in controlling and optimizing costs.
- Contribute to monthly closing activities and ensure the accuracy of financial data.
- Monitor and analyze corporate expenses to promote rigorous resource management.
- Ensure the proper application of accounting standards related to investments and operating expenses.
- Participate in the continuous improvement of financial processes, monitoring tools, and management practices.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure the quality and consistency of financial information.

Your profile

- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field; CPA designation is a plus.
- 4 to 5 years of experience in accounting, financial analysis, or management accounting.
- Excellent proficiency in Excel and financial systems.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with various stakeholders.
- Bilingualism in French and English required.
