This posting is specifically for our Koch Ag & Energy Solutions manufacturing facilities listed below, with the opportunity location in one of the designated 2027 target locations. Depending on performance and business needs, our entry-level position will initially be based in Wichita, Kansas, with the mid-term goal to return to a manufacturing site.

As an intern, you'll gain exposure to a variety of finance and business activities that directly support our manufacturing operations. Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to, the following:
  • Planning, forecasting, and analytical activities that support our operating facility's major business decisions and overall financial health
  • Analyze operating costs of manufacturing processes. Build trend analysis to depict expected spend versus actual spend. Recommend optimization points of view.
  • Actively participate in business planning meetings, working team interactions, and profitability review sessions
  • Collaborate with mentors to define and manage tasks to complete multiple analytic, data-driven projects
  • Use the decision-making framework to identify optimal alternatives to address emerging opportunities for the business you support

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)
  • Eligible for full-time employment no later than Summer 2028
  • Enrolled in a business degree program such as Finance, Accounting, Economics, Agribusiness, Management, or Entrepreneurship or related fields
  • Able to work in the US without sponsorship

What Will Put You Ahead
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and datal analysis tools
  • An entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to think critically and challenge assumptions
  • Initiative, natural curiosity, strong communication skills, and an aptitude for fast-paced learning
  • Familiarity with modern analytics and visualization tools (e.g., Microsoft Fabric Suite, Power BI, Alteryx)
  • Experience using generative or agentic AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Copilot, or similar) to enhance analysis, automate repetitive tasks, or support decision-making
