Are you ready to unlock the power of data to drive business growth and inform strategic decisions in the Government sales channel?
We're looking for a talented Data Analyst to join our team in the Government sales channel, specifically in the legal and risk field. As a Data Analyst, you'll play a critical role in collecting, cleaning, analyzing, and interpreting large datasets to identify patterns, trends, and insights that will inform business decisions and improve processes. As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for driving business growth, improving customer retention, and granting valuable insights to various stakeholders who support the Government sales channel inside Thomson Reuters. You'll work in a dynamic environment, responding to the evolving Government market and internal processes, tools, and commercial strategies.

About the Role
In this opportunity as a Data Analyst, you will:
  • Streamlining Data Insights: Streamlining data collection methods to create automated and easy-to-use dashboards and reports that provide insights across multiple business pillars, including sales and retention analysis, customer behavior metrics, and commercial analysis.
  • Informing Leadership Decisions: Compiling and analyzing data to produce reports that facilitate cross-functional understanding and collaboration between Legal, Risk, and other business pillars, ultimately informing leadership decisions that drive business outcomes and mitigate risk across the government business.
  • Maintaining Data Systems: Maintaining data systems by addressing errors, monitoring performance, and ensuring data quality and integrity, specifically around customer data.
  • Analyzing and Interpreting Data: Analyzing and interpreting collected data to identify trends and patterns, and presenting findings in a format that is easily understandable by stakeholders.
  • Improving Customer Insights: Improving and refining customer tagging and segmentation to enhance analysis, reporting, and business decision-making.
  • Driving Data-Driven Decision-Making: Collaborating with stakeholders to identify areas for improvement, drive data-driven decision-making, and design solutions to meet business objectives, with a focus on ongoing process optimization and refinement.
  • Leveraging Advanced Tools: Developing an in-depth understanding of business partner needs and leveraging experience with AI, automation, or advanced tools to improve workflows, business outcomes, and future state objectives.

About You
You're a fit for the role of Data Analyst if you have the following required qualifications:
  • Experience: 2+ years of experience as a Customer Data Analyst or equivalent experience in data or business analytics.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Math, Statistics, Analytics, Finance, or related field (preferred).
  • Background: Commercial or revenue-focused experience in B2B environments, revenue operations, or Go-To-Market operations (preferred).
  • Analytical Skills: Interprets data to identify customer behavior and preferences, and creates interactive and static visualizations to convey complex insights.
  • Technical Skills: Quickly learns and applies new technologies, and has experience with data analysis and visualization tools.
  • Project Management: Manages multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery, and meets deadlines while maintaining quality under pressure.
  • Soft Skills: Possesses strong communication, problem-solving, and adaptability skills, with the ability to influence and persuade colleagues, customers, and stakeholders, and take ownership of projects independently.

Additional preferred qualifications include:
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and MS Teams.
  • Strong experience with data analysis tools, including Tableau, PowerBI, and Alteryx
  • Familiarity with the following technologies is beneficial: Python, SQL, SAP, and Business Objects

Thomson Reuters complies with local laws that require upfront disclosure of the expected pay range for a position. The base compensation range varies across locations.For any eligible US locations, unless otherwise noted, the base compensation range for this role is $74,200 USD - $137,800 USD.Base pay is positioned within the range based on several factors including an individual's knowledge, skills and experience with consideration given to internal equity. Base pay is one part of a comprehensive Total Reward program which also includes flexible and supportive benefits and other wellbeing programs.This role may also be eligible for an Annual Bonus based on a combination of enterprise and individual performance.
