Job description

MW Partners is currently seeking a Financial Analyst to work for our client who is a global leader in the media and entertainment industry.

Responsibilities and duties:

  • Assist in Overhead planning for CBS Entertainment and CBS Studios; monthly forecast, annual budget, and long-range plan, etc.
  • Examine and analyze operating expenses; assist in providing variance explanations between actuals, budget, and forecast.
  • Manage the overhead payment process; creating PO's, setting up vendors, providing charge codes, etc.
  • Assist in various ad hoc projects.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in finance/accounting required.
  • Entertainment industry experience highly preferred.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite required.
  • Experience in Oracle, Cognos, and TM1 a plus.
  • Excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to adapt quickly to a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Self-starter with the ability to manage priorities and meet strict deadlines.
