Job Description
Provide valuable support to the Accounts Payable Department while gaining practical experience in a professional office environment.
  • Perform a variety of clerical tasks in a professional, service-oriented manner under supervision, including copying, filing, scanning, and data entry.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of clerical and general office procedures and practices, including spelling, grammar, punctuation, word processing, and spreadsheet applications.
  • Operate a personal computer and standard office software appropriate to the assignment.
  • Communicate effectively through strong oral, written, and interpersonal skills.
  • Organize and complete tasks accurately and on time, with close attention to detail.
  • Operate a variety of office equipment efficiently and safely.
  • Pick up and distribute mail to appropriate personnel.
  • Serve as a secondary point of contact for callers and visitors to the Administrative Office/Department.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications
Must be a currently enrolled student and registered for classes.
Preferred Qualifications
Previous experience in an office setting.
Physical Demands
Sitting, standing, bending, walking and carrying items up to 20 pounds.
