Ball-Chatham is seeking a motivated and passionate individual to join our Titan Team as a Finance Secretary at Chatham Elementary School!


When providing services as a Finance Secretary in the Ball-Chatham school district, individuals can expect to work with a variety of visitors, staff, and students. Ball-Chatham Financial Secretaries are an integral part of the school community providing support for budgeting activities and accounts payable/receivables.   



Starting Pay Rate:  $20.00-28.30 per hour, commensurate with experience

Qualifications

  • Strong communication, interpersonal, organizational, and customer service skills.
  • Proficiency with office equipment and Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Ability to interpret policies and regulations, manage multiple priorities, and maintain confidentiality.

Essential Duties

  • Greet visitors and answer phones.
  • Process mail, purchase orders, invoices, reimbursements, and bank deposits.
  • Assist with budgets and maintain student activity accounts, including reconciliations and audit records.
  • Manage athletic activity funds and prepare correspondence.
  • Coordinate substitute coverage and process timesheets and leave requests.
  • Communicate with transportation services and perform other duties as assigned.
