Job description

Overview

DEPARTMENT:         DHQ - Finance Department      

 

REPORTS TO:             Assistant Finance Director (Finance Duties) / Program Secretary (Program Duties)

SUPERVISES:            N/A                                         

STATUS:                     Exempt

SCHEDULE:               Full-time, normally 8:30 - 4:00, Monday - Friday, and as needed

FUNCTION:              This position is responsible for giving direct support to the Finance Secretary as well as the Assistant Finance Secretary. Support includes clerical work as needed, as well as administration of various risk management tasks. This position is responsible to the Program Secretary when it applies to program grants in the Division. This position works closely with CRD for grant processing and grant compliance.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Administration or equivalent experience
  • Prefer a minimum of 3 years' experience of grants and contracts in non-profit environment
  • Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite with solid Excel experience and capabilities
  • Proficient knowledge of Microsoft SharePoint
  • Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and organized
  • Must have the ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Must maintain a high level of confidentiality
