Your role in the mission:
The Manager, Project Finance will support the financing strategy for Infinity Two and future Type One Energy projects. The role will work with banks, advisers, investors and suppliers to help develop a financeable project structure and translate financing requirements into Type One Energy's commercial and contractual arrangements.
Key responsibilities
  • Support development of the financing strategy and capital structure for Infinity Two
  • Work directly with banks, financial advisers, investors and other financing partners
  • Coordinate external advisers supporting project financing
  • Develop financial models, financing scenarios and project economics
  • Translate lender and investor requirements into actions for commercial, legal, engineering and procurement teams
  • Ensure major supply and project contracts support financing requirements
  • Help structure performance guarantees, warranties, liability provisions and other forms of supplier support
  • Identify opportunities for equipment finance, and vendor finance
  • Support development of bankable offtake and revenue arrangements
  • Assess project risks and how they should be allocated between Type One Energy, suppliers, investors and other counterparties
  • Support project ownership, SPV and investment structuring
  • Support lender and investor due diligence and financing execution

What you'll need:
  • 10+ years' relevant experience in project finance, infrastructure finance, energy finance, investment banking or project development
  • Experience with large energy or infrastructure projects, and FOAK projects
  • Strong understanding of project finance, risk allocation and contractual bankability
  • Experience working with banks, investors and financial advisers
  • Strong financial modelling and commercial skills
