Job Summary – Senior IT Project Manager
- Coordinate with vendors, project managers, subject matter experts, and stakeholders for project delivery.
- Manage multiple workstreams involving various vendors and State stakeholders.
- Maintain and update an integrated, master project schedule.
- Actively document, track, and mitigate project risks.
- Monitor task completion and ensure timely progress by vendors and State teams.
- Maintain comprehensive system functionality documentation and application support procedures.
- Oversee the quality and completeness of business process and workflow documentation.
- Ensure vendors develop and maintain necessary documentation, including permissions and user procedures.
- Review and approve quality of vendor deliverables.
- Establish and maintain RAID logs and RACI matrix with relevant teams.
- Prepare and update weekly project status reports.
- Track and report project scope changes and manage change control processes.
- Communicate project delays and risks to stakeholders promptly.
- Provide regular updates on vendor performance and deliverables to management teams.
- Manage project budget and financial processes.
- Schedule and facilitate project meetings, including distribution of meeting minutes.
- Oversee system configuration and ensure alignment with business specifications.
- Supervise system testing phases, including configuration, regression, performance, and user acceptance testing.
- Ensure timely defect resolution by vendors during testing.
- Collaborate with Change Management and Agency Readiness teams for training and project implementation.
