Job description

If so, Amazon Rapid Logistics (AMRL) Finance is looking for a Finance Manager with a record of achieving results.
The Amazon Rapid Logistics team covers a portfolio of high-growth businesses with unique fulfillment and operational capabilities such as Sub Same Day (SSD)

Our Finance teams partner closely with our operations teams to influence the strategic direction of the business, drive operations excellence, and make sound investment and expansion decisions, with the primary goal of continuously improving the customer experience while driving long-term profitability for our portfolio of businesses.
This role will be part of the Strategy team responsible for investment analytics, new initiatives, and operational models. You will support strategic initiatives such as perishable grocery expansion into SSD, introduction of pharmacy and dangerous goods, as well as support the overall growth of the network. You will partner across multiple teams to develop and design new models and operations for the program

The successful candidate will demonstrate an ability to influence business owners, support thoughtful decision-making, and adapt to a rapidly-evolving environment. You will collaborate with stakeholders across Amazon, bring excellent verbal and written communication skills, and prioritize impactful projects to drive the business forward.
Key job responsibilities
- Build complex financial models and perform sophisticated analyses to drive investment decisions for new business initiatives in the SSD network
- Lead capital planning and optimization efforts for the growing SSD network, including building launch strategies, capex forecasting, allocation, and ROI analysis
- Partner with business teams to define financial and non-financial trade-offs, making thoughtful judgment calls in ambiguous environments
- Identify and solve complex data integrity issues while maintaining high standards
- Develop and implement scalable financial solutions to improve tools, technology, and processes
- Participate in defining strategy and roadmap for key business initiatives
- Create clear and compelling narratives to communicate complex financial concepts to stakeholders
- Contribute to the broader Finance community through knowledge sharing and best practice documentation.
