What you need to know You’ll be on a path to become a financial advisor. Our wealth advisory curriculum focuses on wealth accumulation strategies using a goals-based planning approach. You’ll focus in your first 12–18 months on obtaining licensing, earning professional designations and completing the core curriculum. New York Life pays 100% of the costs to obtain the following licenses and designations associated with becoming a financial professional and the Wealth Advisory Practice Model coursework:

1. Wealth advisory requires affiliation as a financial advisor with Eagle Strategies LLC, a Registered Investment Adviser and a New York Life Company. Qualification requirements include but are not limited to applicable FINRA general securities, agent state law, investment advisory licenses, compliance history, production standards, and required training.

Each credit and debit posted to the Agent’s Ledger is part of determining the agent’s compensation and no individual credit posted to the ledger is earned until the ledger reconciliation process is complete. Agents receive payments equal to the positive balance on the Agent’s Ledger after the credits and debits are applied.
