Manages and supports the planning and analysis function to include the annual plan, quarterly forecasts and capital submissions, monthly operating reviews, marketing analysis, labor analysis, and other operating analysis as needed. Responsible for the preparation and presentation of internal financial analysis to executive staff. Creates and implements financial models used in analysis of capital and operating expenditures for the property. Acts as a role model to other employees and always presents oneself as a credit to Caesars and encourages others to do the same.   • Degree in Finance, Accounting or Business, CPA or MBA preferred

    • Minimum of three to five years analytical operations experience, preferably in a supervisory role in the finance, gaming or hospitality industry

    • Must have a thorough knowledge of all aspects of financial planning operations to include financial/operations analysis, people/resource management, finance and database modeling

    • Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills

    • Streamline processes to optimize productivity, efficiency, and speed

    • Fluent in use of Microsoft Office Products (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access)

    • Proficiency in SQL required and Power BI recommended

    • Ability to work diplomatically with all levels of management to influence without authority

    • Excellent interpersonal, customer service, communication, team building and problem-solving skills are required

    • Possess excellent math, statistical and technical financial analysis skills that are detailed and result oriented

    • Strong organizational and time management skills are required

    • Must present a well-groomed appearance

    • Ability to uphold and demonstrate the highest level of integrity in all situations and recognize standards required by a regulated business

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Must be able to work inside and continuously maneuver around office area and throughout the casino property.

  • Must be able to bend, crouch, kneel, twist, lift, stoop, reach and work at a desk when performing administrative functions.

  • Must be able to work in areas containing secondhand smoke, dust, loud noises and bright lights.

  • Directs the planning and analysis function to include the annual plan, quarterly forecasts, monthly operating review, marketing analysis, labor analysis, and other operating analysis as needed.

  • Responsible for updating Managerial report daily, weekly, etc. through collaboration with operators, ESS team and local accounting team.

  • Responsible for providing supporting documentation analysis and presentation preparation for monthly and quarterly business reviews with SMT.

  • Provide analysis for special events, prepare monthly, quarterly and annual projections for revenues, operating expenses, and EBITDA calculations.

  • Work with senior management to develop financial and strategic plans for current and future business goals.

  • Participate in and present operating reviews to the Property Senior Management Team

  • Participate in property and market strategy meetings and identify opportunities for revenue enhancement or cost control

  • Make recommendations toward the effective use of operating and capital resources

  • Conduct ad-hoc analysis as necessary including, but not exclusive to, operations performance reviews, marketing and customer behavior analysis, competitive intelligence, financial modeling, forecasting and statistical analysis, budgeting and capital planning support, and other key business functions

  • Help property leaders get the most out of standard analytical tools & reports - serve as translator / interpreter to local audience & conditions

  • Regularly synthesize data into actionable recommendations and presentations

  • Proactively research business trends across functions and communicate findings to property leads and/or management

  • Make recommendations toward the effective use of operating and capital resources

  • Monitor profitability and achievement of financial and non-financial goals

  • Perform special projects at the request of senior management.

  • Acts as a role model to other employees and always presents oneself as a credit to Caesars and encourages others to do the same.

  • Adheres to all regulatory, company and department policies and procedures.
