Job description

About Moove AV

At Moove AV, we aren’t just moving vehicles; we’re building the backbone of the autonomous revolution. Partnering with industry leaders like Waymo, we’re redefining fleet management and driving the commercialisation of autonomous vehicles.

We’re expanding globally and seeking passionate, innovative professionals to join our journey. If you’re ready to be at the forefront of cutting-edge technology and help make mobility safer, more efficient, and accessible, we want to hear from you!

About the Role

As an Autonomous Vehicle Operations Supervisor (AVOS), you will be responsible for leading the daily operations of our Ride Hail (RHO) team and ensuring fleet readiness across all shifts. This includes oversight of Fleet Deployment Specialists, AV Cleaners, and Calibration Associates — ensuring every vehicle is safe, clean, charged, and mission-ready.

This role requires a data-oriented, action-driven leader who thrives in a fast-changing environment. You’ll analyze operational performance, identify efficiency opportunities, and implement process improvements through experimentation and data-driven decisions.

You will also play a key role in training and team development, delivering onboarding and refresher training to frontline staff when needed, and providing actionable feedback to the central training team on skill gaps and improvement areas.

You’ll balance leadership and execution — driving accountability through metrics, coaching through feedback, and building a culture of safety, collaboration, and continuous improvement. This position may require working morning, evening, or overnight shifts — including weekends and holidays — based on operational needs.

This is a full-time, onsite position. Remote work is not available for this role due to operational requirements.

What You’ll Be Doing
  • Lead and supervise daily Ride Hail Operations to ensure safe, efficient, and compliant fleet activities.

  • Supervise daily activities of Fleet Deployment Specialists, AV Cleaners, and Calibration Associates, ensuring performance, safety, and quality standards are consistently met.

  • Conduct Daily Quality Checks: Perform daily quality control checks to identify operational gaps, compliance issues, or performance bottlenecks — and implement targeted corrective actions.

  • Participate in the Partner’s Train-the-Trainer (TTT) program to stay current on standards and training best practices.sions for new or transitioning frontline staff as needed; identify training gaps and communicate improvement opportunities to the training team.

  • Monitor and report on operational KPIs, using data analytics to identify performance trends, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvement.

  • Maintain strict adherence to all Partner Ride Hailing, Maintenance, Safety, and Environmental SOPs.

  • Serve as an escalation point for incidents, system failures, and partner concerns — lead root-cause investigations and corrective actions.

  • Collaborate with training, safety, and leadership teams to ensure compliance and continuous improvement across all shifts.

  • Present operational findings, data insights, and improvement plans clearly to leadership.

  • Coach and develop team members through feedback sessions, and skill-building opportunities.

  • Support continuous improvement projects aimed at enhancing fleet availability, operational efficiency, and employee experience.

What You’ll Need for This Position
  • 2+ years experience in Operations, Fleet, Mobility, or Logistics Management, ideally in a fast-paced or technology-driven environment.

  • 2+ years experience leading and managing teams through effective training, coaching, and feedback, with experience in Train-the-Trainer or similar programs.

  • Strong technical fluency, including experience with software solutions like Google Workspace, Slack

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills — able to translate data into operational actions and measurable outcomes.

  • Kaizen or continuous improvement mindset, focused on daily, incremental process gains.

  • Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills; able to communicate insights and updates to diverse audiences.

  • Adaptable and comfortable managing change in evolving operational environments.

  • Strong organizational skills with a track record of executing and tracking multiple initiatives simultaneously.

  • Collaborative, hands-on leadership style with a focus on safety, accountability, and teamwork.

  • This role requires frequent standing, walking, and movement throughout the depot and lot.

  • Work is conducted in both indoor and outdoor environments; operations continue in most weather conditions, including heat, rain, and humidity, unless conditions are deemed unsafe.

  • Personal protective equipment (PPE) must be worn as required when on the depot floor or in vehicle operational areas.

  • This position may require work hour flexibility — including weekends and holidays — based on operational needs.

  • Must possess a satisfactory driving record, including valid driver’s license in the state of employment.

  • Must be able to lift and move up to 25 pounds.

  • Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States without current or future sponsorship.

About the Team

Our team is analytical, fast-moving, and solutions-driven. We combine data, teamwork, and innovation to deliver world-class autonomous vehicle operations. If you’re a hands-on leader who thrives in dynamic environments and is passionate about improving systems, people, and performance, you’ll fit right in.
