Project Finance & Accounting Analyst
Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented Finance Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will support the financial and contractual administration of large-scale infrastructure and energy projects. This role combines financial analysis, reporting, contract management, stakeholder coordination, and operational support to ensure compliance with project agreements, accurate financial reporting, and timely execution of contractual obligations.
Candidates with finance experience in another industry (construction, infrastructure, etc) are encouraged to apply!
Responsibilities
  • Coordinate with the Global Finance Team to maintain financial models, forecasts, and budgets for project evaluation and performance monitoring.

  • Support the preparation and review of financial analyses, projections, and management reports.

  • Monitor project financial performance and prepare variance analyses against budgets and forecasts.

  • Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities, including preparation of supporting schedules and reports.

  • Prepare recurring financial, operational, and management reports for internal and external stakeholders.

  • Support cash flow tracking and forecasting activities.

  • Manage and maintain project contracts, financing agreements, and other key project documentation.

  • Track contractual obligations, milestones, reporting requirements, and other deliverables required under project agreements.

  • Coordinate the preparation and submission of contractual deliverables to lenders, investors, partners, and other stakeholders.

  • Prepare and maintain payment lists and payment support documentation, ensuring timely processing and compliance with contractual requirements.

  • Review invoices, payment requests, and supporting documentation for accuracy and compliance with project agreements.

  • Communicate and coordinate with internal departments, vendors, lenders, investors, and project partners regarding financial and contractual matters.

  • Maintain accurate records of transactions, contracts, funding agreements, and project correspondence.

  • Support financing activities and, as needed, assist with the administration of financing arrangements.

  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations, contractual requirements, and internal policies.

  • Participate in internal and external audits by providing supporting documentation and responding to auditor requests.

  • Identify and resolve issues related to reporting, compliance, contract administration, and audits.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.

  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in finance, accounting, project finance, contract administration, or project controls.

  • Proficiency in financial software and tools, including SAP or similar ERP systems.

  • Advanced Excel skills.

  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a dynamic project environment.

  • Detail-oriented with strong documentation and record-management skills.

Preferred Skills
  • Experience supporting infrastructure, energy, construction, or project-based businesses.

  • Experience with contract management and administration.

  • Knowledge of project financing structures and funding agreements.
