THE ROLE:
As a Staff Financial Analyst within AMD's Corporate Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) team, you'll be at the heart of strategic decision-making. This role offers the opportunity to collaborate across business units, influence financial outcomes, and contribute to long-term planning. You'll develop financial models, analyze performance metrics, and present insights to senior leadership that shape AMD's future. This is a dynamic, high-impact environment where your analytical skills and business acumen will be fully engaged.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Support the development of annual budgets, quarterly forecasts, and long-term financial plans
  • Analyze financial results and KPIs to identify trends, variances, and improvement opportunities
  • Build and maintain financial models to guide business planning and strategic decisions
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate and consistent financial data
  • Deliver clear, actionable insights through presentations and reports to senior management
  • Contribute to ad-hoc analysis and special projects that drive business performance
  • Monitor industry and economic trends to assess potential financial impacts
  • Uphold compliance with corporate financial policies and procedures

PERFERRED EXPEREINCE:
  • Background in financial analysis, ideally within a corporate FP&A setting
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint; financial modeling expertise
  • Experience with data analysis using SQL, Snowflake, Power BI, or related tools
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment

ACADEMIC CREDITIALS:
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field preferred
