GEICO's Legal Department is seeking a highly organized and experienced Senior Executive Assistant to support senior leadership and their teams. This role demands a proven track record of efficiency, task and time management, and results orientation to assist senior-level executives in a fast-paced legal environment. Key responsibilities include managing e-mail and calendars, scheduling appointments, booking travel, and providing high-level administrative support. The ideal candidate will be professional, discreet, resourceful, responsible, proactive, reliable, and exceptionally organized. Superior prioritization and multi-tasking abilities, along with strong writing and editing skills, are essential.

Basic Qualifications:

5-7+ years of experience as an Executive Assistant, supporting senior-level executives Proficiency in managing e-mail, calendars, and contacts. Advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite creating Word documents, PPT presentations and Excel spreadsheets. Experience scheduling calls and meetings and preparing meeting materials and presentations. Ability to track email correspondence and projects, following up with senior staff as needed. Expertise in booking and organizing travel, creating detailed travel itineraries and maintaining tracking spreadsheets. Competence in performing various administrative tasks such as printing and scanning, e-mailing, drafting letters, and proofreading documents. Experience in creating and submitting expense reports, processing invoices and general experience related to supporting financial management. Ability to organize and maintain both physical and digital filing systems with experience working in Share Point. Flexibility to handle special projects and other tasks, as assigned.

Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree or Executive Assistant Certification Experience in a legal setting, either in a corporate legal department or law firm Proven ability to maintain budgets and expenses Experience supporting the administrative operations of an organization or department, including drafting, documenting, and maintaining administrative processes, procedures, or standard operating procedures (SOPs).

Location:

This hybrid role requires working on site in our Bethesda MD office for three days a week.

Annual Salary

$29.00 - $45.28 The above annual salary range is a general guideline. Multiple factors are taken into consideration to arrive at the final hourly rate/ annual salary to be offered to the selected candidate. Factors include, but are not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the role, the selected candidate’s work experience, education and training, the work location as well as market and business considerations. At this time, GEICO will not sponsor a new applicant for employment authorization for this position.
