Job description

Position Summary

The Multimedia Designer is responsible for creating high-quality visual and multimedia assets that support real estate marketing, listing promotion, digital campaigns, print materials, video content, social media, and internal communications. This mid-level role combines graphic design, multimedia production, and digital content development, requiring both independent execution and collaboration with marketing leadership, agents, and internal stakeholders. The position demands a balance of speed, accuracy, creativity, and technical proficiency in a fast-paced, service-oriented environment.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities


Brand and Creative Development

  • Create visually compelling and multimedia-driven content that supports listing marketing, agent branding and promotional marketing, office events, and company campaigns.
  • Maintain consistency with brand standards, including typography, color palette, motion graphics style, and overall visual identity.
  • Develop templates and reusable design and multimedia assets, including graphics, short-form video formats, presentations, and animation elements, to improve efficiency and ensure consistency across offices and agents.
  • Edit, refine, and update creative assets based on feedback from leadership and stakeholders.


Real Estate Marketing and Multimedia Production

  • Design and produce brochures, flyers, postcards, eBlasts, closing books, maps, social media content, ads, signage and presentations for agent branding, company initiatives and property marketing.
  • Create and edit multimedia content including social media reels, motion graphics, and basic animation.
  • Produce print-ready, digital-ready, and video-ready files with proper formatting, resolution, file preparation, and technical specifications across platforms.
  • Support listing launches, open house promotions, agent events, recruiting efforts, and seasonal campaigns through both static and multimedia deliverables.
  • Adapt creative assets for multiple platforms, including web, mobile, social, email, print, and video, while maintaining visual and brand consistency.


Collaboration and Production

  • Work closely with agents, marketing staff, leadership, printers, and external vendors to execute projects.
  • Interpret project requests and translate them into effective visual and multimedia solutions.
  • Review final proofs and media outputs for accuracy, grammar, image quality, video quality, sound quality, and overall presentation prior to distribution.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines in a deadline-driven environment.
  • Maintain organized working files, multimedia assets, templates, and archived projects in accordance with company standards.


Professional and Operational Support

  • Respond to urgent business needs and time-sensitive creative and multimedia requests, including responding to emails in a timely manner.
  • Assist with updates to marketing templates, brand guidelines, and visual and multimedia standards.
  • Stay current on design trends, video editing techniques, social media formats, and best practices relevant to real estate marketing and digital media.
  • Support a polished, service-oriented experience for internal and external stakeholders.


Qualifications

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Multimedia Design, Digital Media, Visual Communications, Film, Marketing, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
  • At least 3 years of professional experience in graphic design, multimedia design, marketing design, or a closely related creative role. Similar job descriptions and hiring templates commonly call for at least three years of comparable experience for multimedia-focused roles.
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating a range of print, digital, branding, and multimedia work, including layout design, social content, and video or motion-based projects. Portfolio strength is consistently identified as a core hiring requirement for multimedia designers.

  • Familiarity with social media content formatting, basic web publishing concepts, and platform-specific content adaptation is strongly preferred.
