Job description

With a limited degree of supervision incumbents are responsible for providing clerical, analytical and operational support to the business functions within the organization such as filing and data entry. Additionally, they may also assist with the generating of reports and provide insights. Incumbents in this role act as a clerical support resource which can be utilized across any of the administrative functional areas at any time. Additionally, they may act as an informal resource for associates with less experience. Typically, they also perform non-secretarial administrative tasks.

Primary responsibilities include

  • Participate in monthly branch file moves along with the packing and shipment of client files to Iron Mountain facilities. 
  • Ensure the accuracy of any data entry, organization of documents and communication, which entails developing and maintaining process documentation, standard operating procedures, and user manuals.
  • Engage in continuous improvement, which includes monitoring and evaluating the effectiveness of implemented improvements and suggest adjustments as needed.
  • Complete operational risk management activities including record retention procedures; procedural governance; & compliance training.

Qualifications, Education, Certifications and/or Other Professional Credentials

Required Qualifications

  • Completed high school diploma or equivalent (GED) with minimum 1 year of experience in banking and/or financial services OR 
  • completed associate or bachelor's degree with minimum 6 months of work experience 
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to various computer-based systems (e.g., Salesforce, NFS, Microsoft Office)
  • Physical ability to lift to up to 30 lbs. on a regular basis without any accommodation

Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge of financial services regulations and investment products
  • FINRA licensures
  • Demonstrated job stability 
  • Interest in Wealth Management
  • Documentation scanning experience
