Job description

We are looking for the right individual to add to our administrative team! We pride ourselves on a long history of professional leadership in our field and a reputation for building strong relationships with our families.

An ideal candidate should posses a blend of office assistance proficiency, and a warm, family-centered approach. Candidates should be able to collaborate with a diverse teaching staff and be committed to providing quality environments for children.

This position is open due to a retirement.

Duties:

  • Maintain staff-to-child ratios (track daily attendance)
  • Complete state immunization audits
  • Log incident & accident reports
  • Sub in classrooms when necessary
  • Schedule staff
  • Greet families & visitors
  • Parent communication: Answer emails & phone calls
  • Maintain staff & student files
  • Manage inventory (food, cleaning & school supplies)
  • Assist with enrollment & registration process
  • Manage social media presence

Ideally, we are looking for a candidate that has a Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction (DPI) teaching certificate. Other bonuses would be:

The Caring Center was established in 1972 by Thelma Peters, and we take great pride in having been a part of our community for over 54 years. We are located in Verona, Wisconsin--a small but growing town only minutes away from Madison, Wisconsin. Throughout our center, we have Montessori influences, but we wanted to give our community access to the Montessori Way. In the fall of 2007, we opened the first Montessori program in Verona, Wisconsin.
Our center strongly believes in the importance of adapting our environment and curriculum for specific individuals or groups to empower children to take leadership in their learning. We have a very deep appreciation for creating a family feel of openness and respect in all of our classrooms.
